Chinese New Year 2018 Origami Dog Extravaganza!

Here’s a fantastic little chihuahua. I love the different colour of the eye and nose.

Eric Vigier designed this quite excellent dog and folded it specially for 2018. I especially like the little tongue.

This Dalmatian makes fantastic use of colour change so you end up with black spots everywhere.

Here’s a cute little Welsh Corgi and this design again makes fantastic use of a colour change.

Katsuta Kyohei designed this fantastic Pomeranian. It’s not a very complex model but it has lots
of character and you can definitely tell what it is.

Satoshi Kamiya has one of the most famous dog designs. I especially like how soft this one looks with the choice of paper here.

This is an absolutely incredible design that looks very life-like.

Hiroaki Kobayashi designed this excellent Shiba Inu again with a really nice colour change. Lost of these dogs
have great colour changes incorporated in the design. To get the full effect you need to use two-coloured paper.

This husky isn’t too complex but it’s quite cute and has a lot of character.

Next is this quite excellent looking poodle.

Yoo Tae Yong also designed this fantastic pug and it’s probably the best origami pug design I’ve seen. Beautiful photo here as well.

Shiba Inus are pretty awesome so here’s another one with a cute little scarf. The face on this one is very well done.

This next one isn’t technically a dog but it looks so great and it’s pretty close so I’m going to include it.

Hiroaki Kobayashi also designed this excellent Boston Terrier. This one is folded from 3 square sheets of paper.
